Aly & Jake's Winter Manor Wedding At Historic Rosemont

Aly and Jake said "I do!" on a January evening at The Historic Rosemont Manor. We were honored to celebrate their love story with them, and to partner with one of our favorite venues for a wonderful night. The dedicated planning and design team transformed the estate into a winter wonderland where Aly and Jake danced the night away with their friends and family!

The outdoor ceremony was held on the beautiful lawn at Rosemont where the bridal procession was accompanied by Joji's "Gimme Love". A close friend of the couple—who also played the role of matchmaker—officiated the ceremony.

The celebration then continued indoors in Rosemont's ballroom, where Celebrations Catering served a seasonal feast, with cake by Biting Wit Bakery.

The first dance was H.E.R. ft. Daniel Caesar's "Best Part," followed by Willie Nelson's "It Always Will Be" for the father-daughter dance and Rascal Flatts' "My Wish" for the mother-son dance.

Aly and Jake provided some song ideas for their wedding receptions in our app, which was a great starting point. It gave us a feel for the vibe they’re going for. They trusted us to take the reins and keep the energy flowing throughout the event.

Since our DJ planning app has a feature where couples can note the songs they do not want played at their reception, they used that feature to specifically request to steer clear of line dances.
